Of course London is one of the most exciting, vibrant, cosmopolitan cities in the world and worth a few days to explore. Visit some of the wonderful attractions, such as the Houses of Parliament, London Eye, London Bridge, The Tower of London, the Natural History Museum, the National Art Gallery and of course Buckingham Palace. Stroll through the markets at Convent Gardens or see a show in the West End. Go shopping at Harrods in Knightsbridge or Oxford Street to pick up some bargains. Visit Soho for bars, clubs and gay nightlife. London does not disappoint.

Bath Bath is a beautiful city and listed as a World Heritage Site with its glorious Georgian architecture. A visit to the Roman Baths is a must as well as an afternoon tea at the Pump Rooms.
Brighton Located on the South Coast Brighton, it is a great day trip or weekend trip. Visit the wonderful maze of Lanes, the pebbly beach, the Brighton Pier and of course the rather exotic looking Royal Pavillion built by the eccentric Prince Regent in the 18th century. Brighton is a fun place by the seaside and is said to be one of England's top places for nightlife and Gay and Lesbian lifestyles. Also has a wonderful arts festival every May and the Brighton Festival Fringe.
Stonehenge Stonehenge is a prehistoric circular monument that dates back thousands of years to 2500BC. There are numerous theories about the huge stones from burial grounds to a Druid Temple for worshipping the sun but one thing is certain they are impressive stones.
Cambridge Cambridge a university city surrounded by heritage villages is another must see. Go punting or rowing or during the summer visit a Shakespeare play which are staged outdoors at the various colleges.
Oxford A must see is Oxford, a university town and the oldest university city in England, situated some 50 miles (80 km) to the west of the capital London.
Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle is the oldest and occupied castle of its kind in the world. It's the official home of the Queen of England. Steeped in history it dates back almost 1,000 years. You can avail of a tour of the castle while you learn of the history.
The Lake District The Lake District located in Cumbria is a beautiful rural area in North West England and is a great popular holiday destination. Of course it is famous for its lakes and also the poet William Wordsworth.
